Gensplan - Relationship Marketing Crucial to Generating Network Marketing Leads

It seems like many people are making mistakes regarding the business opportunities they are getting involved with and what it takes to successfully market them.

There are scores of business opportunities out there and people are pouring into them like crazy. Some of these opportunities are with companies that have been around for quite a while and are solid, proven winners. If you are one of those people that picked a first-class business opportunity I am pleased for you.

But to my disappointment, there are many companies out there that are pretty shaky deals. They guarantee you instant treasures - all you have to do is become a member for them, pay your monthly fees, and then you can ease back and rake in the dough. Mistaken, this is not how it works.

The fact is, there is a giant failure rate among individuals trying to start a winning home based internet or network marketing enterprise. Close to 95% of the folks that join these online business, whether they are well-known companies or one of the unreliable instant get rich schemes, will fail at making enough money to stay in business.

Assuming you picked a stable business opportunity there is one key fact to consider if you want to be among the successful.

You have to understand the marketing required to make your business successful. If you don’t know how to market you will most likely not succeed.

And, you need to understand the most essential piece about marketing and that is the making of leads.

You must have leads so that you can change those leads into sales and/or enroll them into your business. The distressing part is that most network and Internet marketers fall short in the most crucial part of their marketing - lead generation. And the plain reason is usually because they do not know how to market appropriately. But you can with no trouble change that and get the information you require.

To help you achieve a better appreciation of the many pieces involved in lead generation, I am going to lay everything out for you in a relationship chart or marketing map. The most significant piece of the map is at the core - the lead capture page. The lead capture page is central to your marketing and once you learn how to do all the diverse types of marketing they all point back to one point – and that is your lead capture page.

No matter what kind of marketing you are doing, whether it’s Facebook, MySpace, Adwords, Forums, Blogging, etc., all of that traffic needs to be targeted to move to your lead capture pages.

To repeat, all of your marketing needs to convey all of your traffic to your lead capture page.

Essentially, the intention is for you to get on your way marketing using any or a combination of traffic generation - lead generation techniques. Then your marketing labors will direct people to your lead capture page and then you can transform that lead into a buying customer and/or a prospect to enroll your enterprise.

If all you’re doing is pushing your business, and not capturing leads, you are doing your self a disfavor. You must gain the leads and build relationships with the people whose names you obtain.

Now when you learn how to market properly, you will learn how to master these discrete marketing strategies. You do NOT need to master them all so don’t get anxious by how many types of traffic marketing there are. Some very thriving internet marketers only use 1 or 2 of these tactics, but they concentrate on them, get proficient at them, and they take action with them.

You can make use of things like FaceBook or MySpace to gain traffic to your lead capture page. You can make use of blogging or article writing to establish yourself as an expert and get traffic to your lead capture page that route. You can also run ads on other people’s ad sites or use Yahoo Search Marketing to get traffic to your leads capture page. Pick one to start.

Your lead capture page becomes the entry point into your marketing retention and follow up practice, because the traffic that you capture there goes into your Autoresponder.

All the leads go into YOUR autoresponder. This is because you need to build up a list of your own customers and prospects. This is a key point, because in the majority of internet business out there, all of your hard work go to building a customer list for the company, NOT you!

You need to be doing this no matter what business you are in, whether it’s Qivani, GDI, Maddy Moo, etc. You need to get the traffic to your landing page so that you can catch the lead.

The autoresponder becomes your email manager, your marketing follow-up system and your customer retention system.

By using an autoresponder you can stay in contact with your prospects and over time they will be positive to either acquire products from you, link up with your business (if you are network marketing) or become resellers (if you are in affiliate marketing).

Use the email messages you convey via your autoresponder list to benefit your contacts. After all, they wouldn’t have registered for your list if they didn’t think you had something to give them. So don’t disillusion them. Give them complimentary things, give them instruction, teach them, and indirectly sell them on your products or business. Give away them marketing training and show them how they can be successful with the products you are selling or if they join your business. Under promise and Over deliver!

You can actually earn an income from this. We’ve set ourselves up with services and products so that we can earn cash even if people don’t join our business. This is because we have built a catalog of names that we are building relationships with.

So bear in mind, no traffic - no leads, and with no leads you can’t keep your business running.

If you are already leading a business, you need to set up a training curriculum so that you can offer even more to your list of individuals. If you have yet to connect with a business you need to find a company that gives you with the right kind of marketing instruction. A first-rate training series should show people how to set up their landing pages and autoresponder and train them on which types of traffic marketing will work best for them.

Keep in mind, you don’t have to use all the different types of marketing to acquire traffic. You can use the various tactics independently. The essential thing is to use at least one of them, get accomplished at it and stick with it.

So don’t waste any more time. Start doing things the right way and get the marketing training you need.
